Every summer, the cultural district of Pittsburgh, PA filled with music and art lovers for the Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival. This festival brings together thousands of artists and visitors offering free admission to most events like concerts, and artistic events for the whole family. The exhibition is divided into Point State Park and Hertz Gateway Center and the entire city has joined the festivities.
Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival is ten days of music, arts and events to celebrate Pittsburgh deep cultural roots. Deep into the city along the Ohio River, local companies are preparing to welcome visitors and vendors as well. Downtown Pittsburgh has more to offer than just a festival, the cultural district is located in the heart of the city with restaurants, hotels and museums that are rich in history of Pittsburgh. Festival of trails along State Point Park, a large space in the city, within walking distance to everything in town.
The south side of the park is a long stretch of local and national artists, exhibit their works. Artists can purchase a booth and sell their works of art, but the quality is high. Before the artist can register for Booth, has been seen by that is high quality, and then were invited to participate.
It was also a nice addition to the party, has recently joined the Pittsburgh Symphony festival after a long period, not participating. The orchestra preformed last festival in 1977 and was one of the biggest musical attractions, as it took office in 1965. The concert is partially sponsored by the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra musicians. The company has decided to share what charges to bring them to the festival because they felt that was an important part of music and culture in a line-up. I am excited to return to a culturally rich event, with all the music and art is celebrated in some places.
Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra music director Manfred Honeck is the conductor of the concert will open with the Overture to Candide by Leonard Bernstein and Symphony No. 5 by Beethoven, followed by the works of Johann Strauss Jr., Hummel, Khachaturian, Shostakovich and Dvorak. The concert concludes with Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture. The soloist will be Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra principal trumpet George Vosburgh. This talented group of world renown and is very rare that a performance of this caliber come to such a low price to the public.
