Informal weddings tend to lack the same customs and formalities of a traditional wedding and as such a couple’s choice of wedding songs for an informal wedding, tend to take the same route. Whilst an ultra formal wedding make be bursting with pomp and ceremony, an informal wedding is more relaxed and laid back, so choose wedding songs that accentuate that feel.

You will still need to choose different styles of music for the various elements of your wedding, including the ceremony, wedding breakfast and first dance, but you can use the music to great to effect to accent the informality of the occasion whilst not loosing a sense of romance.
