Anders Osborne Ash Wednesday Blues Blues Music CD Review
Anders Osborne has released her latest album, Ash Wednesday Blues.
It’s a rare day that a CD from an artist that I can truthfully say does not have a bad track in the bunch. I am more than happy to announce that’s exactly what I have to say about it. There is just no bad in the bunch. No fillers here at all.
Wednesday Blues is a well-varied mix of 14 tracks that are very well written songs by this artist exceptional clarity. With many of the songs have a lot of emotion type that makes for a really great listen. Drawing clear from what I can only imagine are their own real life experiences.
Overall blues Ash Wednesday is an excellent release. What I call must have music. I give it two thumbs up and is certainly a good addition to any blues collection. A truly exceptional excellent blues CD. One that is completely void of any wasted time, as each track is simply superb.
While the entire album is really very good the truly standout tracks are every bit of love [track 3], Snake Bit Again [Track 6], and Ash Wednesday Blues [track 13].
SmoothLee My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [... Stuck On Repeat who] is track 10, Life is strange. What a great track!
